DOLL PARTS, a rock band based in Tokyo, is due to release their second full album “B.O.G”, Bragging out Garbage, on April 19, expanding upon their rocking discography.

The upcoming album is set to be an intense, yet melancholy rock album, said to surpass beyond DOLL PARTS’ last album DOPE. B.O.G will feature a total of 14 tracks showcasing a vast assortment of songwriting prowess, including the previously released WE EXIST HERE and STRAY SHEEP. The opening track Shihai (支配) will also receive a music video release on April 12.

We can expect the album to be an emotional rollercoaster with rocking grunge songs to heavy hearted emotional tracks. Vocalist and guitarist ARISA’s deep and moving lyrics, combined with KOTARO’s vigorous drum grooves, will undoubtfully create a unique and electrifying soundscape.

DOLL PARTS have also exciting live performances coming up for any fans in Japan. The first takes place on April 19 at Aoyama RizM to commemorate the release of B.O.G. Then on May 12, a performance at Shibuya WWW. Finally, a Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka tour, with details to be revealed at a later date.

About DOLL PARTS

DOLL PARTS are a rock band from Tokyo. Taking influence from grunge, power pop and Britpop, DOLL PARTS have a unique sound that keeps expanding with new releases.

The story of DOLL PARTS begins with ARISA, beginning her music career in Fukuoka before moving to Tokyo and teaming up with composer COZZi to create a multitude of music.

In fall 2018 DOLL PARTS formed and began making a name from themselves in live houses around Tokyo. In 2020 KOTARO officially joins the band as drummer, and a year later in April 2021, the mini-album THE FIRST TASTE OF ME releases, marking their first release as a band.

March 2023 saw their first full album, DOPE, release to the world, further building upon their initial sound.

Now, the upcoming album B.O.G is set to take the band even further, to new heights, building upon the foundations of past releases.
