Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK released their latest single “Dystopia” on October 25. The song comes just days after completing their PREMONITION WORLD TOUR at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, where the band also dropped a few hints regarding their future plans.
ONE OK ROCK has played in a variety of styles, from alternative to emo rock to pop punk, but what has remained consistent throughout their music has been the themes of perseverance and the drive to create a better world. The band is well-known for creating inspiring and uplifting rock anthems such as “We Are” and “Renegades”. With lyrics encouraging listeners to “find euphoria in dystopia”, their latest single “Dystopia” seems set to join those ranks.
ONE OK ROCK also has a music video for “Dystopia” on the way. If you were at their Los Angeles concert on October 23, then you were one of the lucky few to see a special preview clip of the upcoming video.
That wasn’t the only surprise they had either. The band confirmed that they are working on a new album and have plans to tour both South America and North America in 2025. Official information, dates, and locations are all still to be announced, but we are looking forward to seeing what they get up to in 2025.
In the meantime, make sure to check out “Dystopia” which is available now for streaming on a variety of music services.
