MUCC premiered the music video for Ai no Uta (愛の唄) on May 12, ahead of the single’s release on June 4. This song marks MUCC’s first major release with the record label TOKUMA JAPAN.
The song features some raunchy guitar and crooning lyrics, while a model in heavy makeup sucks on a lollipop, giving it a very suggestive feeling. Visually, the members are dressed in matching monochrome outfits, rocking out against dramatically lit red and blue backgrounds. And be sure not to miss guitarist Miya’s awesome solo at 2:02!
The physical single will be available in three editions: a Regular Edition, a Limited Edition with DVD content, and a special 8cm CD which includes a member-voiced alarm clock—ever wanted to be woken up by your favorite MUCC band member? Ai no Uta is released ahead of MUCC’s Love Together tour, which will include 18 shows across 11 venues in Japan.
