Superstar rock band Petit Brabancon dropped their debut EP, Automata, on June 14. With six distinct tracks, brace yourself for a genre-bending rollercoaster ride! That’s not all—they also revealed a stunning, slightly unnerving music video for their captivating lead track, Kodou (孤動), on the same day.
Prepare to be swept away by the infectious and boundary-pushing anthem, Kodou crafted by guitarist Miya (MUCC). This New Wave-infused gem not only showcases the EP’s diverse musicality but has already sparked a frenzy with its tantalizing preview, boasting captivating visuals and an irresistible melody.
Once you step into the video’s world, you find yourself immersed in a mesmerizing womb-like setting, enveloped by feathery veins and plush, textile-based innards. The initial glimpse might have fooled you into thinking it was a web of strings, but behold the true haunting nature of the complete video!
Kodou has been selected as the ending theme for the month of June on Fuji TV’s music program Love music. The show is broadcast every Sunday night starting at 25:00 (JST).
Following Automata‘s release, Petit Brabancon embarks on a nationwide circuit TOUR 2023 INDENTED BITE MARK. The tour kicks off at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on July 12.
