Progressive numetal band Petit Brabancon has been called a “monster band”, alluding to the titanic abilities of each superstar player. Now the band gets literal with it, channeling retro ’70s horror on the packaging of their upcoming concert release, Resonance of the corpse. Resonance of the corpse drops on January 18, 2023.
This Blu-ray includes footage from the Petit Brabancon Tour 2022 Resonance of the corpse tour final, held at Zepp Haneda on September 21, 2022. It includes 11 live tracks, including debut singles Koku (刻) and Kawaki (渇き), and the high-energy song Don’t forget.
Resonance of the corpse is available to pre-order in both regular edition and limited edition. The regular edition includes the concert on Blu-ray, while the limited edition adds a Blu-ray of bonus behind-the-scenes content. The limited edition also adds a purchase code for an exclusive T-shirt, sporting the rad cover art.
Per vocalist Kyo’s request, the packaging was designed to resemble an old VHS box. Though the contents are high definition, you may find yourself having throwbacks when you open it! Check out the design below.
On January 28, Petit Brabancon kicks off the new year with a live concert, EXPLODE -01- at the venue Toyosu Pit in Tokyo. General sales opened on November 26, 2022.
