Next generation girls rock band, Lonesome_Blue powers up debut EP First Utterance with the release of the international edition. First released in Japan on June 22, the five-track EP goes worldwide on September 2. Notably, the songs include English lyrics written by asami, the vocalist for LOVEBITES.
On May 24, Lonesome_Blue uploaded the song Parallel World to YouTube. The prominent song released from the EP combines strings with speed in a fusion of power metal and hard rock. Plus, this power rock banger gets a boost from violinist Ayasa from the multi-media franchise “BanG Dream!“. Following that up on August 5, their next release amps up the toe-tapping with an awesome dance number in Welcome To Heavenly Secret Base.
The multitalented group assembles a lineup of masterful musicians: Lead vocalist Nomura Maiko and bassist Hirose Yuki are voice actresses from the Japanese idol video game Tokyo 7th Sisters and members of the band “The QUEEN of PURPLE”.
Guitarist Narumi’s first EP as a solo artist became Tower Records Shinjuku’s second best-selling CD in the heavy rock and heavy metal category. On drums, MIZUKI has been a session drummer for various artists in the Japanese rock scene and is currently one-half of the unit Shinku Horou.
