The harmonic metal band HAGANE releases their first full album, Code; 9021, on August 18. The five-member girl band shifts up the pitch with power metal.
Since forming in 2018, HAGANE has a few singles and a mini album demonstrating their hard rock and power metal abilities. Yet, now they reach the next level of musicianship on full display in the music videos from the album, SuperVillan.
In the BlackCult music video, lead vocalist Uyu steps into a cathedral with all members ready to rock in their blue motif outfits. As the guitar riffs roar and double bass kicks, Uyu belts out melodic verses with sonically high clarity. And this is just one out of 12 tracks from the blazing album.
On Code; 9021, they dive deep into a heavy metal soundscape that’s notably different than the mini album EpisodeØ from 2020. While the mini album included good hard-rock songs like Soulbeats and Wintrysky, the new full album offers standout bangers such as GunRock and FlyingCircus.
Perhaps HAGANE has charted a ship on a heavy metal journey. Now might be a good time to sail with them!
