Japan’s next-generation girls rock band, TRiDENT, digitally releases the single Spoopy on May 22, taken from their upcoming album D-X. With the song and music video taking on the theme “coexistence of horror and pop”, it showcases TRiDENT’s new view of the world and how they’ve moved onto the next level—steadily rising ever since the celebration of their second anniversary.

Adding to the greatness, the electrifying song Spoopy gets a boost with arrangement by guitarist DAIDAI from Paledusk. The recording was also done by Gaku Taura from Crystal Lake.

Listen to the trio bust out this metal banger right here!

We will have to wait until later for more details on the album, but what we know now is that it will be released this Autumn, and that “D-X” stands for “digital transformation”.

For sure, Spoopy rides on an electric metalcore vibe, yet, will they top previous efforts like their hard rock full-length album ADVANCE GENERATION? And will someone please save ASAKA from that toy box?
