A new mysterious masked band “MISTRESS OF THE DARKROOM” has emerged from the dark that follows the concept of the “Black Death”, the bubonic plague. It is the deadliest epidemic in history which is estimated to have caused a death toll of 50 million during the 14th century.

The dark masks of the plague have their own consciousness and possess the ability to telepathically control the musician’s mind.

With such a distinct setting, the band members themselves reflect this image through its plague doctor appearance, as well as their names. You will also notice that the lineup is quite different from the typical band too.

  • Aina Le Sombré Romanov: programming and synths.
  • Nocturne Y. Wilhelm: guitars and bass.
  • Miseria De La May Fernando: keys, piano, and orchestra.
  • Franz AKM Drudenhaus: drums.

On top of that, the band invites guest vocalists from all over the world. For its debut song MY RAVEN BLACK, they’ve gathered:

The “Black Death” is the deadliest epidemic of bubonic plague in history. It wiped out about 25 million Europeans alone in just a few years.

Plague doctors were medical physicians who treated victims of the bubonic plague.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, the plague doctors invented masks to protect themselves from “bad air” and prevented contagion. However, many of the doctors still contracted the plague and died.

The black color of the mask and outfit is a symbol of darkness and terror as the Black Death, which is what they called the sickness, killed people in huge numbers and made people feel hopelessness.

Now, the dark masks of the plague have their own consciousness and possess the ability to telepathically control the musician’s mind.
