nano provides vocals for the collaborative work Tsuki to Izayoi that will join the smartphone RPG game “Touhou LostWord”, and also shared comments on the project itself.
The fantastic vocalist nano who rose from the doujin (self-produced) scene is doing a collaboration with Touhou LostWord, a smartphone RPG game based on the long-running doujin franchise, Touhou Project.
nano will be providing vocals to the song “Tsuki to Izayoi”, a rearrangement of the original music “Tsukidokei ~ Luna Dial” by ZUN, and is a part of the third installment of the game’s music video project. The fun doesn’t just stop there because as for the instrumentals, the band Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets has provided their expertise in order to give the song a spark of thunder.
So far, only a preview of the instrumentals of Tsuki to Izayoi is available via its announcement video.
Furthermore, in a video, nano shared a few words about the collaborative work and the Touhou Project, mentioning the big hurdle faced and how the franchise is growing beyond its initial state.
Hello everyone, this is nano.
I sang on the music video project track “Tsuki to Izayoi” for Tohou LostWord. We just finished recording. Because it is my first time doing something under the Touhou scene, I was wondering how I should approach performing this song. But it’s a really cool song so when the time came to record I was really enthusiastic and had a fun experience with everyone there. I would be really happy if that feeling can reach the fans of Touhou.
For me, it was quite a difficult song and there was a really big hurdle to overcome. However, it is a very nice song that I feel showed me a new world and allowed me to open new doors.
The world of Touhou is getting bigger and going beyond being just a smartphone game, so I’m looking forward to sharing the alternate world of Touhou with more people from the bottom of my heart.
Everyone, please look forward to this music video!
This has been nano.
Thank you so much and keep rockin’ on!
