LOVEBITES unleash their vampiric aura in the music video for Winds of Transylvania which is featured as the opening theme of the slapstick vampire comedy anime series VLADLOVE created by Mamoru Oshii. This track is already available through digital platforms as part of the VLAD LOVE Compilation Album, alongside girl group BlooDye, violinist Ayasa and Chinese artist alan.
LOVEBITES’ upcoming EP GLORY, GLORY TO THE WORLD due out on March 10, 2021, features four new tracks as mentioned in our previous coverage. With the release of Winds of Transylvania, new information surfaces in regards to the additional content included in the limited editions of the EP.
The DVD included in limited edition A comes with three music videos. These are Glory to the World, Winds of Transylvania, and Winds of Transylvania (VLADLOVE version) which incorporates scenes from the anime into the original video. As for the second CD included in the limited edition B, it comes with the song Winds of Transylvania as well as its instrumental version.
VLADLOVE is an original anime created by Mamoru Oshii and directed by Junji Nishimura. The pair is best known for their respective directional work in the acclaimed anime pieces Ghost In The Shell, and Ranma 1/2. The story told in VLADLOVE follows the encounter of highschooler Mitsugu, who is a frequent blood donator, and vampire girl Mai Vlad Transylvania. This series started airing online on February 13 and the first six episodes are available to watch via Crunchyroll.

In other news, the band’s postponed shows from their RIDE FOR VENGEANCE TOUR 2021 get rescheduled dates. Previously purchased tickets are still valid for the rescheduled dates. Fans who purchased a ticket and are now unable to attend can also ask for a refund.
