Waver is Azusa’s first self-produced album making it even more of an accomplishment. Much like the rest of the world, the current COVID-19 situation has really put a damper on any attempts to celebrate in any way. However, with the release of this album Azusa has expressed the desire to “bring this album’s message to as many people as possible”. The one bright side to COVID-19 for Jrock fans has easily been the increase in digital accessibility to Japanese music and performances. Despite being in a dark time, we can still unify under our love of music. Don’t miss the stream on April 3.
