Aimer’s sixth album Walpurgis has been announced alongside its teaser video, revealing its bright alluring red visuals that have Aimer in focus. The album is scheduled for April 14, 2021.

After releasing the double-sided album Sun Dance & Penny Rain last year, Aimer is back with her sixth album Walpurgis. The name which speaks for itself is in reference to the eve of the feast day “Walpurgis Night” which is celebrated with bonfires, and Aimer’s beautiful dress does a great job in portraying this.

Walpurgis is available for pre-order in a total of four editions: regular, limited, first-press limited A, and first-press limited B. Each copy will include the main CD that comes with a handful of previously released songs, and of course new ones as well.

Among the already released music, the notable theme songs include STAND-ALONE (TV drama “Your Turn To Kill”), Haru wa yuku (anime Fate/stay night Movie: Heaven’s Feel – III), Torches (anime Vinland Saga), and SPARK-AGAIN (anime Fire Force Season 2).

As for the recently announced ones we have Kiji, the ending theme song for the Japanese version of Mado Soushi; the Alice in Wonderland-inspired song, wonderland, which was written by Yuki Kajiura; and hollow-mas which is performed for the reading play “ALCHEMIST RENATUS~Homunculus~“.

Both Kiji, and wonderland can be previewed in the album teaser video, but hollow-mas is found separately in the announcement video for ALCHEMIST RENATUS~Homunculus~.
