This week, BRATS released music video Forget Me Not as the final track leading up to the release of their second album, Karma. This is the eighth consecutive song following a string of new releases each month since the start of the year.

Highly characteristic of BRATS’ progressive rock layered with Rei Kuromiya’s strong vocals and Aya Kuromiya’s bass rhythm. Moreover, the lyrics are powerfully evocative of a stalker spurned by lost love. As Rei intensely laments, “I will stab you with a cross and refuse to let you sleep”, ouch! BRATS’ new look for their release of “Forget Me Not”.

In contrast, last month’s release Toge (棘), while less of a bitter valentine letter is a melodic ballad. Take a visual tour across the fields of music video past with a BRATS retrospective.
