coldrain may have released their album THE SIDE EFFECTS on August 29, 2019, but the album is still burning strong with the band sharing music videos this year. The fiery performance of SPEAK comes from THE SIDE EFFECTS JAPAN TOUR 2019 and was captured from the stage by director Takuya Oyama (THINGS)—putting us right in the center of the action!

SPEAK mixes heavy instrumentation, fuzzy guitars, vocalist Masato’s growls, psychedelic visuals, and disorientating camera angles. Masato is naturally at the forefront most of the time, but multiple windows of the other band members rocking out in the heat of the moment, and the special effects intensify the adrenaline-pumping performance. It’s a lot to take in for sure but it resulted in a brilliant and engaging final product!

Previously, coldrain also released two live music videos for songs MAYDAY feat. Ryo from CRYSTAL LAKE and SEE YOU, with each video being distinct from one another.
