As revealed in the brief announcement, RON—the mastermind behind STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION—is in charge of the upcoming music for the spin-off anime series “The Slime Diaries”, based on the popular anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”. It explores the characters’ daily lives in a gag format and is less focused on character development, a typical slice-of-life.
The first promotional video for the anime has the protagonist Rimuru, a slime with transformation abilities among others, reminiscing of the events that happened so far in the main story of season one. At the end of the clip, we can clearly see RON’s name listed as one of the staff members who helped produce the anime. To clarify, the music is not produced under the name “STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION”, but simply under RON’s artist alias, as such, it will be a surprise to see what the music ends up sounding like!
The spin-off series is a part of the nine-month consecutive broadcast schedule that will start from October this year and end in June 2021.
