Yosh from Survive Said the Prophet comes knocking on gamers doors with a special collaboration with the revered composer, Nobuo Uematsu—best known for scoring most of the music for the FINAL FANTASY series.

The new FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE theme song has been titled Hollow features vocals from the wonderful Yosh which can be heard on the latest trailer for the game. Without spoiling too much—there are scenes of Cloud in his best cross-dressing disguise.

Now going behind the scenes for the making of this track, “I think it’s more important to let loose and sing emotionally instead of strictly sticking to the score” says Nobuo as we see Yosh in the recording booth.

Inline with the game, there will be a new FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE orchestra tour which we highly recommend, especially if you’re a fan of the game series. This tour’s setlist includes the new song Hollow performed by a full orchestra and will be conducted by GRAMMY-Award winner Arnie Roth, known for his work on Distant Worlds. So far we’ve attended two shows in London in the past at the Royal Albert Hall and it is breathtaking.

For all concert and ticketing information, you’ll find them on the FINAL FANTASY concert tour page.
