Kiryu’s next single, Watashi Mamire, will release on March 4 and in advance, the band has released the title track’s music video. Performing on the same set shown in their purple artist photo, and mirrored room in their individual shots, the music video follows a story of two conflicting sides to the same woman. However, there are distinct features between them both.
The song itself is mischievous with bassist Hiyori introducing the composition, followed by guitarists Takemasa, and Mitsuki joining in soon after. Drummer Junji matches the guitarists’ speed before vocalist Mahiro interlaces his expressive singing with growls.
The colorfully clothed woman to the left sits in front of her hysterical, plain-clothed monochrome self on the right, who cries into her hands soon after. It’s by this part, the woman in color draws a blade and launches onto her monochrome self, concluding the music video.
