Multi-talented singer Leo Ieiri announced her sixth studio album DUO which will come out on April 17 in celebration of her seventh anniversary since debut! The album will include previous singles Moshi Kimi wo Yurusetara, and Kono Sekai de, as well as, the latter’s b-side track Spark.
The singer also dropped a music video preview for leading song Prime Numbers which will be the opening theme for the third season of the TV Asahi drama Emergency Interrogation Room.
Moshi Kimi wo Yurusetara featured as the opening song for the drama Zettaireido ~Mizen Jiken Sennyuu Sousa~. Meanwhile, Kono Sekai de came out in January 2019 and was used as the theme song for the anime film Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch. Last but not least, Spark played an important role alongside NHK. The Japanese television broadcaster brought together anime and Paralympic sports in the run-up to Tokyo 2020 to create a short series called Animation x Paralympic: Who is Your Hero?. One of the series, Wheelchair Tennis (車いすテニス編), used Spark as the song theme.
DUO comes with 12 tracks and is now available for pre-order in three editions. Limited edition A includes the whole footage of her fan-club only 5th Anniversary Live at Zepp DiverCity held on September 2017.
