There is still some time to go before Kiryu release their single Senkou on March 20 which was accompanied by their vibrant artist photos. Despite that, however, the band has revealed its respective music video and follows the theme of “senkou” which means “flash” or “glint” with the band performing in front of a temple as colorful lights dance around them.
There are women in kimonos scattered around and wearing noh masks sitting in the surrounding area, either serving tea or enjoying each others company.
Senkou as a song is fast-paced and light in instrumentation with the highlight consisting of bassist Hiyori Isshiki’s solo, and the other two guitarists following a similar pattern soon after. The startup drumroll and cymbal combo by drummer Junji Tokai and the accompanying riffs by guitarist Mitsuki Sakai and Takemasa Kujo are also excellent.
No tracklist or art has been revealed as of yet so be sure to check back in the future!
