Four-man LAMP IN TERREN will be releasing their fourth album titled The Naked Blues on December 5, after vocalist Matsumoto Hiroshi’s wrestle with a vocal polyp. Vocal polyps are typically associated with vocal overuse which causes hoarseness in the voice, and so we wondered if this would affect his tone and style as it’s been just under two years since their last album fantasia.
Have a listen to the newer tracks New Clothes and Water Lily and tell us if you can hear any significant difference compared to their older songs, Ryokusenko (緑閃光) from 2014 and innocence from 2016. From the preview trailer, we can hear that he maintains a passionate attitude that reaches deep into the soul, but tracks such as I aroused and BABY STEP lean towards being a little more gentle.
