DADAROMA who entered a hiatus earlier this year is now back in action! The band has revealed their new drummer Ryohei, formerly Len from THE BLACK SWAN, will be joining them, as well as mini-album dadaism#4 scheduled for November 14 that comes in two editions. Additionally, we’re already able to have a taste of the upcoming album through the music video “Tululila” which is out now!
The song “Tululila” continues their fairytale-esque sound effects, all accompanied by a haunting choir and choppy djent guitar. It’s also the first time we get to hear drummer Ryohei smash away at his cymbals.
The music video itself sees a smiling blindfolded woman spelling out words like “birth”, “life”, and “earth” with letters on the table in front of her. She also plays Jenga and puts together a puzzle, only to destroy both. Walking up to a mirror, her blindfold comes off and her alternate reflective self starts laughing at her. This leads her to smash the mirror and put one of the shards near her neck. This is all while the band performs the song in another warehouse while vocalist Yoshiatsu loses himself to the sweet sounds of chaos.
The band will also start their tour DADAROMA IS BACK TOUR “go home” on November 17, taking them through a total of 15 dates, ending on January 30 at Shibuya O-WEST.
DADAROMA previously announced that they would go hiatus after their final performance with Yusuke on August 28. They also went on to confirm that they had an important announcement to make on October 16. The official Twitter account counted down from ten every day until the revelation. Now all has been revealed and with this, their hiatus comes to an end!
