Visual kei is a genre where fans hear the word “disband” all too often, but for Kiryu (己龍) that word holds no gravity whatsoever. Reaching their 10-year anniversary this year, the band released a best-of album brimming with classics to remind fans of their journey to this milestone moment. It’s titled Nisennana ~ Nisenjyunana (二〇〇七~二〇一七) meaning 2007 to 2017 and was released on the direct date of their anniversary, December 16.
It features 27 songs in total with 14 on the first CD which consists entirely of re-recorded songs and 13 on the second CD with the first six also being re-recordings. Limited edition A and B have different jacket art, however, both contain the same CDs and DVD featuring their music videos starting from Tsuki no Hime and onwards.
If you told me personally a few months back that Kiryu was turning 10 this year, I would have asked if you were joking, but it’s indeed the truth! Congratulations are in order for this career achievement! Check out the full tracklist below!
