At the end of April, we saw SCAPEGOAT release artist photos for their new single, Konsui, which comes out on July 12. As the release date draws closer, the band has revealed a disorientating music video preview to promote it.
This sees the members under glaring red and white lights as they attempt to escape the misty and windy weather as hands grab at them. This is before transitioning to a clearer scene that sees them performing while blurred out goldfish cover the screen. Maybe this is their interpretation of the title track, meaning “coma” when translated to English.
Four types going from A to D will be available for the single, with the title track and its music video on type A. The rest will have different second and third tracks consisting of older songs from previous singles.
To start with, there is Dress from single Kousai Endroll and Ajisai from single addicted skin on type B. There is Butterfly from single Future End and Akai Ito from mini-album Paradigm Circus on type C. Romancer is from single Catastrophe and strawberry black market, is also from addicted skin, on type D. It’s also worth noting that all of these songs have been rearranged and rerecorded!
