After the Rain’s two anticipated anime singles are finally up for streaming! “Kaidoku funou” and “Anti-Clockwise”

After the Rain is back after a year of silence to delivering two heavy punches, Kaidoku funou and Anti-Clockwise! They’re labeled as the group’s “first singles” for the simple reason that they’ll both be out in stores on the same day. The two included title tracks will join the Astro Boy prequel called Atom: The beginning as the opening theme song, and Clockwork Planet as the ending theme song respectively this anime season.

You might not be very familiar with After the Rain but you might have heard of “mafumafu”, or perhaps “Soraru”? After the Rain is a project comprised of these two gentlemen, both very well-known and respected vocalists in the utaite community, typically at niconico. Over a long period of time, the guys teased the existence of these two (at the time) upcoming releases in tweets, photos, and even small behind-the-scenes footage from their music video shoot. Fans who have been patiently waiting can now finally rejoice to see both of the title tracks being streamable on YouTube!

You can choose to listen to the full songs over at mafumafu’s YouTube channel with 2D-animated (illustrated) music videos, or jump over to Soraru’s channel for a short teaser on the actually filmed music videos—which we think look a lot more exciting! Neitherless, as both singles are releases linked to the currently running anime season that basically started this week, expect to wait just a bit longer to physically get your hands on these two singles. They’re up for preorder now but won’t be out in stores until April 12!

If you find music from nano, phatmans after school or noisy cell resonating well with you, then this is without a doubt something you should not miss! While they don’t follow the exact same path of musical direction, they do fall into the same category in many other traits that they share.
