More details on Matenrou Opera's new album, "PANTHEON -PART 1-", and upcoming tours emerge

More news from Matenrou Opera about their new album and their upcoming one-man tours in Japan and Europe have emerged. Throughout their boys only live last night, the frontman, Sono, made a few announcements in between songs about their fifth studio album and their live schedule.

The first of the announcements was for the album, which is called PANTHEON -PART 1- and will be released on April 12. The regular edition is CD only and will feature 10 songs, while the limited edition includes a DVD with the music videos for PANTHEON and PHOENIX. The rest of the titles have yet to be revealed. As for the tours, they’ve both been given proper titles; PANTHEON TOUR -the first movement- will take place in Japan from May 4 to June 25, and PANTHEON TOUR -the second movement-“MATENROU OPERA EURO TOUR 2017” starts in Helsinki, Finland on June 30. Tickets for both tours are now on sale.

The rest of the announcements included a fan-club exclusive live, ClubMatenrou PANTHEON TOUR ZERO, that will be held at Hatsudai DOORS on April 21, and their spot in the lineup for the PURE ROCK JAPAN 2017 event on May 28. More details are available on the band’s website.

And lastly, the band updated their look with new costumes that were once again created by Ichikawa—the fashion designer of 9.Acrylcloset.
