As the release of lynch.’s new album AVANTGARDE gets closer and closer, the band has decided to give us a taste of the album with a song off of it. As expected from a typical lynch. single, the song packs high energy with a melodic chorus and harsh vocals that pack a punch. While the song doesn’t really explore anything new or anything the band hasn’t done before, which is a little odd since the album title would suggest otherwise, it is definitely a safe song to showcase for new and old listeners alike.
Definitely the most memorable part of the song would be the funk-influenced bass slapping solo halfway through the song, which is a quick transition from the song but definitely works. And of course, no lynch. song would be complete without a breakdown in the bridge.
The band have stayed true to their dark look, and the video itself feels a lot more relaxed in comparison to previous videos such as the one for EVOKE, which featured lots of fast cuts and special effects. The production is clean and smooth, and feels a lot like lynch.’s previous works. We still don’t have a complete grasp on how the album will sound yet, so look out for the release when it comes out! The new album is set to be released on September 14.
It wasn’t so clear before but they released their new look at the same time as announcing their free lives under the name of MAJOR DEBUT 5TH ANNIVERSARY “THE RECKLESS MANEUVER” thinking the two were connected but it is indeed for AVANTGARDE so please do check out that post regardless of the mistake and we apologise if we misled anyone to believe any different.
