That’s right; Matenrou Opera (摩天楼オペラ) will release a new live DVD! The announcement was made at the end of their one-man tour, Chikyu -The Elements- TOUR, which began on April 3, and was concluded on May 4 at EX THEATER ROPPONGI. While we don’t know the definite date of release or other additional details, we do know that it will feature the tour final and that it will be released someday in August. We’ll tell you all about the new information as it emerges, so check back with us for more.
In the meanwhile, let’s go over the setlist; as you can see below, they played every song off the regular edition of their latest, and element infused album, Chikyu (地球), as well as some crowd favorites. The elemental concept which they employed last year on April 6 is likely to come to a close with this DVD release, and hopefully we’ll see a new chapter begin as they continue to move into their 10th anniversary in 2017!
