Utaite (a niconico vocal cover artist) GLUTAMINE (ぐるたみん) has gone major and is now under Universal Music Japan. His first major single GIANT KILLING will be released on April 20!
Like the well known utaite nano, GLUTAMINE is now in a similar position after having gone major, keeping his face well hidden under a hoodie. GLUTAMINE has an extensive vocal range, having known to reach as high as an F6 and as low as notes in the second octave. This gives him a possible vocal range of over five octaves, which is often considered a serious skill (or even a gift) amongst the most prestigious singers.
He may not be the only utaite who doesn’t seem to reveal his face as mentioned, but he is the first utaite to receive a gold certification (selling 100,000 copies) on an album. This was for Gu ~Sonna Fuinki de Utattemita~ (ぐ～そんなふいんきで歌ってみた～).
