BRIDEAR is an all female metal act that hails from Fukuoka, Japan. Upon making their debut in January 2011, they have one mini album and two singles under their belt. And now they have announced their latest release, their very first full length album BARYTE, expected to hit shelves on March 23 which marks their first release since October 2014! A teaser of their song Rebirth has been posted in promotion of the new album.
Rebirth shows a poppier side to the band in contrast to their previous works, which explored a more heavy metal and hard rock sound with the soaring guitar melodies and fast paced drumming presented in their previous mini album Overturn the Doom. So it looks like listeners can expect an easier to listen to, more accessible pop rock sound in BARYTE. Dressed in black and white, the band’s new look and choice in clothing provides a nice contrast to the monochrome video, and a fresh modern sense of style in comparison to their previous harder looks.
In promotion of the new album, the band will also be going on an album release tour named Rebirth, starting on April 9 at Shinsaibashi FANJ. Don’t forget to pick up this album when it comes out, it’ll surely be a banger!
