We came across a video on the Flying Dog YouTube channel simply titled as VOICE, by the band VOICES, with a release date of November 20 last month. Checking the description, you will find that this music video was created by film-makers Shinji Higuchi and Tanigaki Higuchi and there was a three track single release alongside this.
The music video boasts 50 actors who have all been attached to wires to perform fight scenes where the characters dance in the air violently taking swipes at each other. You’ll notice the overall product quality is very high, which is not surprising if you know that Shinji Higuchi will be directing upcoming films Attack on Titan and Shin Godzilla and Tanigaki Higuchi was in charge of the Rurouni Kenshin triology.
Who are they? Where are they from?
All we know sofar is the exceptional skills of vocals and highly sophisticated music.
What is “VOICES”?
On top of the two heavy-weight names, the cast of the four featured fighters are Rina Takeda, Masanori Mimoto, Joey, and Kentaro Shimazu. Dango Takeda, costume designer for Gantz and Kamen Rider has created special outfits for the VOICE music video.
At the moment there’s not been very much information to where or why this video was created, so we can only sit tight and wait. Here is the making of video below.
Update: iTunes links has been added, and after listening to the single it is clear that at least Hiro from MY FIRST STORY is involved, the fact that this video was also uploaded on Flying Dog’s YouTube channel only enforces this. Speculations also points to the other vocalist being KeiGo from Another Story.
