As reported back in August, the quadrant band girugamesh announced an expected album release in 2016. Today the band unveiled new details regarding this release that will be out on January 20, called chimera.
chimera is labeled as a mini-album not only containing six tracks, but also a bonus track in each edition. It looks like “Big Bear” will be providing these bonus tracks (or track) for the two available editions, remixes of tracks from girugamesh’s previous album gravitation. It is however not clear at this point what remixes are to be included, and the album art as well is a mystery. From the new revealed details it looks like the album also comes with a DVD, regardless of which edition you pick up.
We should be able to expect an album with similar style to gravitation, we’ll have to wait and see if it holds true once previews are released.
Update: It looks like Big Bear will be making remixes of all the tracks from gravitation.
Update 2: The European edition will offer all the original tracks from gravitation (not remixed), while the Japanese version will include a remixed track.
