和楽器バンド / 「反撃の刃」MUSIC VIDEO Short Ver./Wagakki Band "Hangekino Yaiba"

Did you really think Wagakki Band was all about wagakki? Well, you’re right about that! But what you haven’t encountered yet is their fearsome delinquent style which you may observed in the newly released music video Hangeki no Yaiba, a moody song with lots of attitude!

Other than being a song with attitude, it also features a cool “solo duet” (if that makes sense) between guitarist Machiya and shakuhachi flutist Daisuke, where they exchange fists in a musical battle. Sadly, in the end, this cool delinquent image was all destroyed by nerdiness, as the band incorporated swords from the anime Attack on Titan at very the last scene of this clip, what a surprise.

In all seriousness though, Hangeki no Yaiba will be featured as the theme song for the original dTV drama ATTACK ON TITAN Hangeki no Noroshi, a drama linked to the live action movie which recently hit theaters. And apparently the music video also gives us a few clues on what the TV drama story will be about.
