Since about a couple of weeks ago, coldrain started teasing promotion images of a new logo without any kind of context, leaving the fans hanging for more information. Fast forward to yesterday (August 27), the band continued their promotion by taking it a step further, revealing a date and time of the big unveil, August 28, 17:30 JST.

As of writing, it’s still a few hours left until the unveiling, but it was made quite obvious that this would be a new album; and not to break the whole hype and spirit, there is actually already one song available (“Words of the Youth”) for download from the new album via iTunes, revealing the new album title VENA and also the entire tracklist.
VENA is expected to be release on October 21 in Japan and October 23 internationally.
Update: The news is now officially out, the releases date has been updated to include Japan’s official release date. Audio video now available as well!
