Underground mecha rabbits “Rorschach.inc” celebrated their second anniversary by releasing their first ballad AIR on July 21. The new song was first exposed during a live performance at Takadanobaba CLUB PHASE on July 17.
Rorschach.inc suggests that AIR holds multiple interpretations for each listener, comparing it to a Rorschach test. AIR takes a perspective in response to their debut single “Villan” and adds to the storyline, describing anguish and the memory of Villan. The ballad includes elements of soft piano and the band’s electric sound to create a dark tone and painful melody.
To accompany the ballad AIR, Rorschach.inc demonstrated angelic-looking artist photos. The outfits also debuted at their July 17 show at Takadanobaba CLUB PHASE. The AIR look is a striking contrast to the previous release Villan—the visuals feature a prominent use of white attire, and vocalist Yuri complements the look with a halo accessory.
