BAND-MAID revealed tour circuits for Japan and the US to commemorate 10 years of dishing out face-melting metal. The news dropped following its sold-out “Okyu-ji” concert and livestream at the colossal Tokyo Garden Theater on January 9. This exciting announcement kicked off what should undoubtedly become the rock and roll quintet’s most grandiose ascent toward world domination.
As if Monday night’s 26-song set weren’t delectable enough, BAND-MAID treated its ravished patrons with a flurry of milestones for 2023. The one-and-a-half-minute teaser announced 23 domestic shows beginning in March and two consecutive visits to North America in May and August. The tour finale in November will cap the rock and roll marathon at the Yokohama Arena, a venue whose capacity exceeds that of Nippon Budokan, where the maidens had once aspired to take the stage prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Although the teaser confirmed US tours in May and August, the exact dates and venues have yet to be announced. It is possible that one of the tour legs coincides with BAND-MAID’s appearance at Welcome to Rockville music festival in Daytona Beach, FL on May 18 and later at Sonic Temple music festival in Columbus, OH on May 26.
Meanwhile, the “Masters and Princesses” fanbase across America rub hands awaiting news of additional bookings in August!
