Supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS, comprised of internationally renowned musicians YOSHIKI, SUGIZO, HYDE, and MIYAVI, added a second New York show to their overseas tour. The band now rocks the Hammerstein Ballroom for two consecutive nights on February 3 and 4, 2023. Tickets for the additional February 3 performance go on sale on December 16, at 10:00 (EST).
THE LAST ROCKSTARS revealed themselves to the world on November 11, announcing debut concerts in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York.
YOSHIKI, who plays the drums and piano, is the new group’s leader. HYDE takes vocals, and MIYAVI, famously known as the “samurai guitarist,” brings his slap-style guitar playing to the group. SUGIZO rounds out the band on guitar.
“We’ve come together to start this challenge for the world out of Japan”, YOSHIKI of X JAPAN told reporters at the November 11 press conference.
“This may be our last chance at this challenge”, SUGIZO said. “We want to put what’s left of our lives on the line to make the world rock with our music”.
THE LAST ROCKSTARS are scheduled to release new music this month. Get a taste of their style with their teaser for songs THE LAST ROCKSTARS, and PSYCHO LOVE.
