On May 26, voice actress and singer Hayami Saori released the beautiful main theme song, Black Innocence, for the shoot ’em up and mystery game titled “Yurukill: The Calumniation Games“. The song was released as a single and made available physically in Japan, and digitally worldwide.
As the recent anime Spy x Family is currently quite popular, you might know Hayami Saori as the voice behind the character Yor. Or perhaps Shinobu in Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)? However, in the context of Yurukill, she voices one of the main characters called Azami Rina who is described as a strikingly pretty but cold person. We feel like this persona is reflected quite well in the song because of how elegantly it is performed, while also giving off the energy of firm determination.
In a comment video, Hayami Saori shared some thoughts about the character she plays and the game itself. In it, she shares how Azami Rina tends to be a difficult person to read—as she has trouble showing her emotions—and has quite a complicated past. As well as asking the players to enjoy exploring the game while using their imagination, since there are some intricate parts included.
Yurukill: The Calumniation Games is available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5. It will be available on Steam in the future, although, no specific date has been set as of now.
Currently, it is already out in Asia but will enter the regions of North America and Europe in July.

A woman wearing a fox mask introduces herself as Binko, and says: “Shunju Sengoku, you are a criminal sentenced to years in prison, you’ve been offered the chance to gain your freedom. You must survive the various ‘attractions’ in a certain ‘amusement park’. If you succeed, your crimes will be pardoned”. “No, you’ve got it all wrong, I’ve been falsely accused! I’m innocent!”. The victim of one of his alleged crimes appears. Her name is Azami Rina.
“Shunju Sengoku. A name I will never forget. You killed my entire family. For that, I will never forgive you”. Sengoku is in prison, charged with arson and murder—for burning to death 21 people, including Rina’s family. Naturally, the victim does not believe a word of Sengoku’s claims of innocence. Besides Sengoku are four other groups of criminals and their respective victims.
The accused criminals are called “Prisoners”, and the victims “Executioners”. Criminals and victims must pair up to face the amusement park’s attractions.
