STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION has just released the physical edition of single OMEGA on June 2—previously only available as a pre-release on digital stores. But not only that, the music video for it also made its way to the public a day before the grand release, showcasing dystopic visuals with cyberpunk vibes.
The music video offers a plethora of chaotic glitch effects that pairs well with the song, bringing together the contrasting world of digital and analog. Other expressions include: “the sense of the future and decadence”, and “the chaos of reality and the urge in the brain”. These messages are imported into OMEGA thanks to the director and videographer Ukyo Inaba, who previously directed the hit song STORYSEEKER with 3.7 million views on YouTube. He is also responsible for amazarashi’s music video “Kisetsu wa Tsugitsugi Shindeiku“, famously known for being a song from the anime Tokyo Ghoul.
Get ready for a light show and contemporary dance in synergy with the powerful beats of OMEGA.
OMEGA is the ending theme song for the second season of the thriller anime Moriarty the Patriot, based on the story of William James Moriarty, nemesis to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION recently also released the energetic and funky single ALPHA that was coupled with the first season of Moriarty the Patriot as the ending theme song.
