Chanty releases a music video for their latest single Haru Wazurai. This coincides with the withdrawal of drummer Naruto who held his last performance with the band at Akabane ReNy on June 13.
The single Haru Wazurai was originally released on May 15 accompanied by an acoustic arrangement of the song Diary, taken from their first full album Chanty no Sekai e Youkoso.
The music video, while showing beautiful shots of the members at the beach, also has an inevitable feeling of sorrow as we see the final appearance of Naruto at the drums. The drummer took the ultimate decision to suspend all musical activities due to pain in his right wrist.
As explained in Naruto’s Instagram post, he opted to share his feeling in a single picture rather than doing so in words.

Despite losing drummer Naruto, the remaining members of Chanty will continue on with their activities holding a three-stop tour, and their eight-anniversary one-man live Chanty no Sekai e Youkoso on September 16. The tour will be supported with help from drummers Masato from Belle, Aya from RAKUGAKI, and former Smileberry drummer Charlie.
