FEST VAINQUEUR enters their 11th anniversary with an upcoming EP titled ELEMENT set to be out on April 29. Emerging from their hiatus which began in 2018, the fiery music video for Kagerou serves as a warm-up for what is about to come.
The band’s official website describes the EP ELEMENT as a “masterpiece of the 11th year of formation, that is packed with the elements of all members”. Each of the six tracks included in the release is composed by a different member of the band with guitarist Gaku, and bassist Hiro doubling up. Vocalist Hal is the sole composer when it comes to the songs’ lyrics.
The EP comes in a regular edition containing the six tracks, and a limited edition that adds a second CD with the corresponding instrumental versions of the regular edition’s tracklist. You can take a peek at each track through the album previews.
Since their hiatus in 2018, we saw the band return in 2019 for their ninth anniversary under the temporary name “FV”, due to issues with their former record label. A year later, the band returns to rocking their original name as an independent band in 2020.
Their first releases after the pause are the compilation album DIX, and the EP ReGENERATION produced by Ryo Trackmaker, the former girugamesh drummer. Their latest release saw the light in November 2020 as the 10th-anniversary single Kanaria.
