Crack6, a project of PENICILLIN’s guitarist Chisato, recently shared a video teasing song previews off of their newest single, Break The Darkness. The video is divided into three parts, each giving the spotlight to one of the three new tracks.
The first part is a music video preview for Break The Darkness, which begins with monochrome visuals accompanied by heavy rock beats before the riveting chorus brings the world back into color. The video follows with a clip of Chisato (known as MSTR in Crack6) and his bandmates posing for a photoshoot while Discord 21 plays. Tsuki Hana plays as the video concludes with a short slideshow of the group’s newest artist photos.
Break The Darkness comes in two types, ~RED SKY~ and ~MAD BLUE~, and is incredibly limited due to its exclusivity to buyers in Japan between January 11 to January 24, 2021. Both versions of the CD include the three new songs, new artist photos, and an interview pamphlet, with the subject of the interview differing on each version. Additional benefits include autographed postcards and a raffle entry to attend one of three ZOOM drinking parties with the members of Crack6 and other fans. For those of you in Japan who happen to be fans of PENICILLIN’s members, this sounds like a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get closer with them!
As well as the promotional video and CD details, the new artist photos of Crack6 are also available to view below.
It seems that Crack6 is off to an entertaining start for the year with this single and its purchase benefits. Feel free to share your thoughts on the latest release with us!
