NUL. is finally getting out the long-awaited first album, TRIBRID ARCHIVE! It will be distributed both digitally and physically, with the digital release set for January 9, 2021, and the physical release hitting stores on January 16, 2021. There is however no information yet where the physical CD will be available.
The band previously pushed back the album release due to canceled concerts caused by the pandemic. Leading up to the album release, we’ve seen a 3-month consecutive release of singles BLACK SWAN, KaliMa, and nomad. These songs will also join the full-length album that consists of 14 tracks.
NUL. is a band formed in 2019 by former D’espairsRay vocalist HIZUMI, together with programmer Toshiyuki Kishi from abingdon boys school, and guitarist MASATO from defspiral. Described as a “conceptless band”, without sticking to one particular genre, the sound they take on varies from work to work.
Learn more about NUL. through its very first international interview that we conducted with vocalist HIZUMI.
Update 2020-12-31: A new look along with a preview of the album tracks has been released and included in the article. In Japanese time, the updated material was released just as the clock hit midnight and entered the year 2021 (Reiwa 3).
