frederic has so far released two music videos, starting with the dizzying Sukiraism and the Chinese-themed Touhikou, off their second album Frederhythm 2 but it doesn’t stop there! The band has now revealed the music video for third track Endless Mayday, which is being used as the theme song for Y!mobile’s drama show Parallel School DAYS.
The mysterious and nerve-racking music video ties in seamlessly with the story of Parallel School DAYS, a “mystery youth drama where two worlds cross”.
We find the main protagonist in the video chasing and escaping from herself at the same time, coupled with quick transitions, repeated scenes, and dramatically tilted filming angles. All of this fused together makes for a nerve-racking watch especially with the purple, blue, and red lighting arrangement.
Endless Mayday as a song exudes a weird, ominous feeling mainly in the verses but anything before and after, it’s lively and somewhat positive.
You can see the song being used for the promotion video of Parallel School DAYS, and if the drama also sounds interesting to you, it is available to watch via Y!mobile’s YouTube playlist.
