Pentagon pose in soft light for single “Mantra”

Pentagon fans can look forward to a new release right in the middle of summer; on July 4, the band will launch a single called Mantra (マントラ)! It is not available for preorder yet but according to Pentagon’s website, it will come in three editions. Whereas Type C will contain three audio tracks in total, Type A and B will include two songs and additional DVD content such as music video, shooting, and recordings of the band’s live performances during their tour final last month, and the fifth anniversary of Goemon Records, respectively. The titles of the additional songs have yet to be announced.

In their new artist photos, we see the members posing in the evening light on a beach. Their outfits are less colorful than usual and, featuring long flowy coats, suits, and lace, noticeably elegant. Outstanding points are vocalist Chizuru’s bright red coat and drummer Atsuki’s rather casual clothes. Furthermore, the overall composition of light and scenery in the photos gives off a somewhat nostalgic vibe.
