We are now getting ever so close to DaizyStripper releasing their second major single titled 4GET ME NOT out on January 24, 2018, that the band have now revealed a short clip from the music video.
The first few seconds are enough to tell us that they will explore mature themes, both visually and audibly, which is quite the contrast from their songs in the past. Another thing that becomes apparent is the focus on a more narrative-driven music video rather than a performance one; a rare feat for the band.
There is a fire burning in a house, surgery being performed on someone, the police searching around in a forest and a woman walking at a roadside, amongst other things. The imagery alongside the song itself creates this sorrowful atmosphere that makes the storytelling powerful and effective.
Do you enjoy the band a lot more now they’re going down this route? Are you happy that they experimenting with their sound? Or are you sceptical of this sudden transition? Tell us what you think down in the comments!
