Azlina prepared a generous Christmas present to us this year by acknowledging and embracing the international fans! In an effort to make their music more accessible globally, the band worked together with V STAR PROMOTION to deliver more ways to consume information and music from the band in English. Let us walk you through what’s currently on-going and what we can expect in the coming months.

The first step to this scheme is the newly opened English Twitter account, which they are now celebrating by giving away free personalized chekis (polaroid photos) to four lucky winners. All you have to do is follow the band’s new Twitter account and retweet this tweet before January 8, 2017. Furthermore, for all the Facebook users out there, a brand new Facebook page has also been created to promote their music in English.

Until recently, there wasn’t any easy way to get a hold of their music, but now it’s all purchasable through V STAR PROMOTION’s webstore, which is aimed towards the international Japanese rock consumers. Like the icing on the cake, Azlina brings it up a notch by soon selling their music digitally on iTunes, however, not until late January, so keep your eyes peeled. You will find their upcoming album here!

Lastly, their latest music video Suther Bles, from the third single released earlier this year, will receive English subtitles in January.

This is quite exciting news, not only for the fans of Azlina, but generally for all Japanese rock fans out there. It’s quite impressive to see smaller bands step out of their comfort zone and open up to a fanbase outside of Japan. We hope more Japanese rock bands are willing to take these steps and hopefully make this scene grow even larger abroad.
