WagakkiBand announced the release of their third single titled “Kishikaisei” (起死回生) which came out on August 17. The title song on this release were used for TV Tokyo’s theme for the summer Olympics in Rio which is currently ongoing. “Mi La I” from their previous release earlier in August was also used for the Olympic Torch Relay. Kishikaisei (起死回生) means “revive” in Japanese, a motivating and energising vibe to cheer on the fighting spirits of the athletes. You can now purchase the single on itunes, Recochoku, Mu-mo, or Mora.

In other news, WagakkiBand completed their first US tour with three shows from July 12-16, playing in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco as part of their DEEP IMPACT tour.
