SuG announces their first major mini-album with Pony-canyon music label, titled VIRGIN for March 9 available in three editions.
This mini-album includes sevens tracks, two of which are from their previous single: SICK’S and teenAge dream, and also new tracks Sakuraame (桜雨) and Smells Like Virgin Spirit plus three additional untitled tracks.
“Smells Like Virgin Spirit” and “teenAge dream” is an obvious tribute to Nirvana’s famous Smells Like Teen Spirit, but even then, we must admit there seems to be an obsession with virgins is a little strange. The ending of the promotional video for this mini-album did make us cringe a little with the words “VIRGIN” plastered over two kids kissing.
Song names aside, we’ll still sure to hearing the development of this mini-album, what did you think of the video? Let us know in the comments below.
