Tokyo based band abstracts started out with an incomplete line-up upon producing their first selftitled album in 2014, taking help from various musicians around the world, such as Godspeed who worked for the game company CAPCOM in the past, Mark Holcomb of the progressive metal band Periphery, Acle Kahney of Tesseract, and more. Fast forward a year, the band finally completed their permanent line-up. And now, 2016, abstract announced their new album HOLOGRAM that will hit stores on March 9!

HOLOGRAM comes with nine entirely new tracks, with vocalist Kento Sugisaki from 7YEARS TO MIDNIGHT to support on the sixth track. Based on a photo, teased back in November, it looks like we’ll be seeing a music video with the release as well, which will be the band’s first “real” music video. Other than that, not too much relevant stuff has been revealed, except for the album artwork and tracklist.

Now that the band got their full permanent line-up, it will be interesting to see how much the new members influenced their sound, also how much it will actually deviate from their first album.
